CATHII conducts research on the causes of human trafficking, its mechanisms, its developments and on the practices to be put in place to support and protect victims, survivors and survivors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This research and the tools derived from it are intended, through dissemination, for the general public, organizations and decision-makers, contributing to increasing knowledge about human trafficking and to proposing appropriate responses to situations of exploitation and to people who are victims of trafficking.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

New technologies and human trafficking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Conducted by Marie Phaneuf as part of a summer job, this research focuses on the links between new technologies and human trafficking, particularly how digital tools can influence exploitation and recruitment dynamics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Empowering victims of human trafficking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Led by Renaude Gr\u00e9goire, this research focuses on approaches and practices that promote the empowerment of victims of trafficking. It draws in particular on consultations with organizations to better understand their practices, experiences, and the challenges they face in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n
